Starting on February 6, Knights of HOSA participated in the UCF Student Union’s Art the Heart Contest. This contest teams were provided with a 4’ Heart cut from plywood to be decorated according to the theme “We Heart UCF.” The Knights of HOSA heart, along with the other competitors, can be found displayed around the UCF Student Union until Spring Break. This contest will hopefully increase awareness of the new HOSA chapter on UCF campus and allow Knights of HOSA to gain new members.
Starting in March 2014, Knights of HOSA will be volunteering with the Central Florida’s Medical Reserve Corp. Also, Knights of HOSA will become an affiliate with Chegg.com to raise funds for our chapter. This opportunity came about due to National HOSA’s recent partnership with Zinch. This agreement with Chegg.com will result in textbook discounts and three to ten percent of all revenue will go to Knights of HOSA.
